Why Granite Kids?

A place where kids

learn about Jesus on their level!
Every weekend all children (babies through 5th grade) experience safe, age-appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a creative and relevant way. We are so passionate about kids learning about Jesus in a way they can understand that we encourage you to take them to Granite Kids rather than into the service designed for adults and students (6th grade and older).
First Time at Granite Kids?
Look for the area designated for first-time families. We will meet your family, check your child into our database system, and one of our volunteers will lead your child to their age-appropriate room.

We will ask for the following personal information: family members' names, children’s names and birthdates, address, phone number, and any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your child.

How Does
Check-In Work?

After finding your child’s name in the database, you and your child will be given matching identification tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you keep the matching tag.

In the event that we need to contact you during the service, one of our leaders will locate you in service and show you to your kids classroom.

Creative Bible Teaching
The Bible is the most amazing book ever written! We strive to bring its stories to life through activities and discussions that keep children engaged. We want all children to love God’s word and understand the value of applying it to their lives.

Relationships
We value children’s relationships within the small group setting as they relate to their leader and other kids in the group. As families commit to attending the same service each week, children are placed in a group of familiar faces where relationships can grow.

Age-Appropriateness
Our environments and lesson materials are created in a way your child will understand. We are so passionate about kids learning this way that we we encourage you to take them to Granite Kids rather than into the service designed for adults and students (6th grade and older).

Safety
Every child’s name tag is matched to a parent-identification number, every volunteer is screened with an interview and federal background check, and every hallway is monitored by security personnel.

Fun
Kids love fun! We realize that when children have fun at church, they can’t wait to come back. We value creating fun ways for children to learn about Jesus, including games, activities, singing, and live acting.
